Preferensi Wisatawan Terhadap Pemilihan Hotel (Studi Kasus Hotel Budget Di Jakarta)

Abstract

The city of Jakarta as one of the largest cities in Indonesia and is the capital city of the country is a

city that is the target of the arrival of travelers, both tour operators and industry players. Jakarta has

the potential of natural beauty and cultural uniqueness that are in demand by both foreign tourists

and domestic tourists. The tourism sector has managed to become a major source of tourism

revenue in Jakarta. Currently the budget hotel is one type of hotel that is growing rapidly in various

big cities, one of which is Jakarta. Budget hotels are hotels with limited facilities and are usually

located in the middle of the city. Usually this hotel is much sought after by those who work while

traveling.

The purpose of this study was to find out tourist preferences in choosing a budget hotel. These

factors are seen in terms of product, tariff / price, advertisement, location, service, process, physical

facilities, and people. This research was carried out for 1 year in DKI Jakarta using quantitative

descriptive method using a questionnaire instrument.

From the results of the research note that the factors that influence tourists in the decision to use

budget hotel services in Jakarta partially are price, process and people. But simultaneously products,

rates / prices, advertisements, locations, services, processes, physical facilities, and people can

influence the decision to use budget hotel services in Jakarta.
